Best Wheel and tyre combo?

Just picked up this swift sport in red with black roof. I'm thinking of buying new wheels and tyres for it and I'd like some advice since It's my first fun car. The dimension must be one of the two in the photo for street legality (Italy...). I'm looking for summer tyres with decent grip, whilst for the wheels any recommendation is welcome.

Keep the stock wheels and spend money on the tyres instead. Put semi slick tyre, i know Yokohama AD09 comes in 195/45 R17 dimension. Will transform the car's handling.
