Brake Fluid

DOT3 is the lowest spec. so I think any of the higher glycol based variants will be fine. So DOT4 or DOT5.1 just as good. I think Suzuki is just referring to that specification rather than ‘only’ DOT3.
I would guess the amount required to do a full fluid change would be in the region of 1 - 1.5 litres, allowing for a reasonable flush through. In reality the whole system probably only holds about 800mL.
