Corrosion on alloy wheels

Quote from Steven Newton on March 11, 2020, 12:18 pm

I have watched the video, and the guy mentions he lives near the coast, not sure if that might have something to do with it.

In my opinion I doubt It. My 65 plate Swift Sport has spent It's whole life by the North Norfolk coast and Its alloy wheels are In great condition compared to the ones In the video. I'd hazard a guess that the corrosion was more than likely caused by a lack of maintenance and using abrasive cleaning products on the rims 🤔

My 2016 wheels are immaculate but should stress that I don't drive my 32S over wet salty roads.
