Loose Gear Shifter

Hi All,

Quick query. Got a 2008 sport. My gearstick has loads of left/right play when in gear. Pulled up the gaiter and it appears that some of the black tabs to hold in place have broken at some point. Gonna replace it just not sure if I need to get a unit from a sport or if I can just put any unit in to sort this out or if this isn't my problem at all anyone know what is?

Are you replacing just the black part with the broken bits? If so; they are the same for the non-sports and sports. And although not 100% sure I think also the SX4 from the same period has the same.

I was looking at replacing the whole part with similar to the pictures one
