Hi. I'm new here. I'd like some advice on spark plugs please. Everywhere i look i can only find the expensive Iridium plugs for my 2013 1.2 swift, Phoned Euro car parts about ''conventional'' plugs and was told only Iridium ones are recommended because normal plugs may damage the engine. Is this true? Thanks.

Yes you'll need the iridium ones. From memory the last ones I had for my zc33 were about £24 each but I'm pretty sure they can be got for much cheaper at about £15 each. Have you tried online?

Yes tried everywhere, Managed to find Bosch ones on GSF car parts website today for £10 each. I'm from a time when spark plugs were about £7 for 4..Guess things have changed 🙂 Thanks

Iridium plugs last a hell of a long time. You may never need to buy another set. On my last car I swapped them out at 48k miles even though the car was running perfectly. They were NGK plugs

The ones ive just took out today were the original ones made by Denso. Done about 60,000 miles so can't complain. Tick over was a little lumpy before
but with the new ones in it's much better
