Problem with PCV valve ...

We did the cam change and then started problem with the oil consumption . First i was thinking on some bad meccanic work when did the advancing a exhaust cam and that maybe valves touched so the valve guide had some oil spill and on the rear window were signs of unburned oil . After that we take out engine and made port and flow on head change the head gasket all bearings put baffle plate in the oil pan change the drive chain and all seals and put the engine back. After first gas tank the oil its still missing and after just 450 km i had to refill more than two liter of oil . I think that i had to change PCV valve - its the only possible failed part that werent changed and the oil consumption persist ...

Had anybody of you the same problem ? I'm planing to put oil catch tank on the engine breathing -it has to be closed circuit or can be breathing out type ?

Thank you in advance for the answers ,
Kindest regards,
Max

2L for 450km oil consumption is insane. If the oil is burning you would leave a solid smoke screen behind you.
Changing valve seals when guides are busted would not help much, did you inspect the guides?
Also you crack opened the engine and did not check the cylinder bore wear and did not change the piston rings?
