Replacement shock options?
Quote from Jake Scanes on January 31, 2023, 3:28 pmI have a leaking front nearside shock on my 2010 ZC31, I need to replace it.
Whats options exist?
Bilstein/TEIN or other generic aftermarkrt brands like Meyle, monroe etc.?Whats the difference between the normal swift shocks and the sport model?
Most aftermarket options are listed as fitting all models 1.3 through to 1.6, so assume length stays the same for all.
Suzuki quoted 175+VAT which makes a pair over £400, thats not fitted.

Quote from Jake Scanes on February 8, 2023, 2:41 pmUnfortunately Bilstein B4 (OEM replacement) are not specific replacements for the sport.
Even Monroe who make the OEM damper do not sell the same damper aftermarket.
They are all equivalents to the non sport model struts, which are not the same.In the end I went with Suzuki OEM and will hopefully do me another 10yrs+
