Replacing Gear Stick below knob

I have beatrush replacement gear stick the part below the knob , in Blue alloy anybody know how it comes off and fits back on states its direct replacement.

You'll have to take the knob and the gaiter off to get into the mechanism. From there it should be pretty straight forward. The knob screws off 👍

I did take it off really easy , but the original spring is to wide for the beatrush part , messaged greenline no response.Any ideas.
