Wiring in a Subwoofer to an 08 Swift
Quote from Matt Battersby on November 15, 2022, 3:32 pmHello there, i’m trying to wire in a sub to my 08 swift, and i’ve ben struggling to find a way through the firewall to route the power cable to the battery. I’ve seen the grommets but they’re located in very hard to reach areas from the inside, and i would rather not take my whole dash apart just to route a single cable
I have noticed that near the internal fuse box, there is a cable which looks like it’s to be used/connected up to something, but I don’t know if it could supply the correct power to the subwoofer?
It’s a pioneer TS-WS130EA 160w underseat sub which needs powering. i’ll attach a picture of the wire i’m curious about.
As you can see by the pictures, the wire is coming off of a bunch of cables which are plugged into the fuse box.
Any help with routing would be much appreciated!
