Quote from CTC Performance on June 3, 2019, 10:13 pmI Have just fitted 17x7.5 ET45 with 215/45/17 Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and to be fair they are bloody close to the coilovers say 2mm clearance to the damper. You might struggle with 8J and why add the extra weight. Just weighed my new wheels and tyres they weigh in at 16.7kg the OEM wheels weighed 16.6kg at 6.5J with 195 so not bad to go 20mm wider tyres and still have only a 10g increase in weight per corner.

Quote from fullmetalwaxjacketpotato on June 4, 2019, 9:27 pmHi I just like the look of the oz rally wheel.. its a reproduction of a 80s rally car wheel..
not really thought about weight... I have tried to find out the weight of the 7.5j 18 ET45 but I cant
see anything... It would be really good to know how heavy or light it is...?
I did see somewhere that its quite a heavy wheel but it didn't say in kg's..
Cheers Nick

Quote from Ruben Seibald on August 2, 2019, 3:42 amchoosing a proper wheel and size for a proper fit is very important for safety and looks. choosing 18 inch wheels is not recommended as for proper fit and putting strain on the suspension.
choose a wheel that will give proper back spacing and does not stick out the fenders.
17x7 5x114.3 bolt pattern with an offset anywhere from 38-45 . do not forget the center hub centric spacers which Suzuki is at 63.1.
also make sure that the bolts are long enough for the wider wheel.

Quote from dragawn on October 27, 2019, 9:05 am@ctc-performance You mentioned coilovers, would you say the dampers on them are thinner than the stock dampers or other coilovers? Or are would they all just about squeeeeze in that 17x7.5 ET45? Or would there be other suspension clearance issues to worry about?
